Why? We've not made it to the Grand Final yet. We have to beat Huddersfield (twice, probably) to get there yet.

Sian: Oh that's a very pretty plane, it's all pink and purply
Thecko: And it says Wizz on it

I expect if we made it to the Grand Final then we'd sell the 10,000 tickets fairly sharpish and get an additional allocation from the RFL. I don't think it'll be too much trouble to get a ticket though, I've never had a problem in the past (and often buy only a week or two prior to the event) as a neutral.

pre planning, we did it differently pre the cup semis last year after learning in 09, we're in the drivers seat for getting to the final(still a lot to do though) so its questions thats possible need to be looked at by the people who run the operations and the people who spend the money.

If it's Wigan v Wire it will sell out no doubt.

But if you aren't a season ticket holder with one reserved for you, just buy as a neutral on the internet on the night you qualify.

Absolutely no fear of missing out on a ticket unless you do something very silly.

Just seems an odd allocation. 10k per team leaves 56,000 tickets for neutrals and guests etc.

Hardly a reward for a team that makes it. Would have thought 20 000 per team was a more sensible figure.

Last season at the GF 99% of fans i was were Wigan fans and the same for Saints at their end. Basically hold on until you know which end you are allocated, the RFL do this before the last 2 play off games so you know which section you need. It works well tbh as it will also safe guard the season ticket holders which should be the clubs priority (i am not a Season Ticket holder due to work) but also ensures that all supporters can get a ticket if you go early and book or wait and see if you make the final. Generally think the process works very well and it gives all fans a chance to go to the final but you will see its mainly fans of the 2 teams playing.

There is very little time for the clubs to sell the tickets however. It's a logistical nightmare and you'll no doubt see queues for tickets reaching Burger King in Winwick if Warrington get there.

I think whichever teams get there, all their fans will get a ticket but perhaps not in the stand you want to be in or with the people you want to be with.
