i'd rather a football reserves play there rather than Sale.
I hear Salford pay 1mil a year at barton but isnt that to pay back the loan to the council? sounds alot but its 500k at the willows.
who does the stadium belong to?
Not a chance!!!! your telling me we are renting it for 75k per game!!!!! ha ha ...no chance. I bet its about 15-20k per game.
and 500k at the willows? that would work out at 40k per game costs....again...seems an awful lot!! unless that includes things like a proportion of insurance, maintencance etc

Have you evidence to back this up?
If Salford have to pay so much, then i reckon they will be bankrupt within 3 years.
At present you are averaging around 4k spectators which probably works out at about £80k income per match.
Using the alleged rental price per year, then all or most of your probable gate revenue will be going on just playing in the stadium. You dont own the stadium, Peel do, so they will take all the money from conferencing etc on none match days Hence Salfords only income will be from the Sky money around £1 million a year. Out of that you will be expected to pay for all the playing, coaching and admin staff.

We make more on corporate than crowds apparently....plus dcenet sponsorship deals...so hopfeully it will end up being comparable with the willows....where we have had to spend a lot on insurance...match days...maintenance etc -0 all this included in new staidum rental

Took another ride down there again today. Looks like the access road from the A57 works have started. The artificial training pitch is compete. What looks like the floodlights have been delivered. Also looks like the building of the main stand is pretty much complete on the outside.
Very exciting times when you ride round the perimeter and see the scale of the project.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Why not go in the new shed behind the goal, I'm looking forward to having an "end" like the stretford end or the Kop will be great imo advantageous to fans n players alike.
