The only thing I'm clinging to is that at least it makes next week's return game against them an even more of a must-win for them...and it also, probably turns it into a 2 horse race. Whoever wins has to be up there with the most mediocre champions of the past few years anyway!

You only had Bairstow missing this week didn't you? Add in the fact that Warwickshire had their best bowler Woakes missing as well this week and that's a bit disingenuous for the most recent match at least.
With the rain denying Worcester what looked to be a certain win we've got a lifeline but, as our last two games are Warwickshire and Somerset I don't hold out much hope - and our survival would pretty much guarantee Lancs the title, given they play Worcestershire next.
Sadly, I can't see anything other than both the disastrous things happening.

I'll definitely be at the Friday, will be at the Saturday if it goes the full four days. Wanted to go to a day at Worcester this week as well, but unfortunately it ain't happening.
