Well Spav has had a couple of mares in the last three games, so maybe a change is merited.
His little chip kicks to run on to have all been gobbled up by defences.
Coady had the best spectator viewpoint in the house against Worky ... back to normal there then.
I wouldn't leave Morrison out of any side though, the lads a tryer.
I am a big fan of Crisper ... but he has gone right into his shell of late.
We've gone stale at just the wrong time.

Even when Chris Spurr and Nev Morrison have got the ball they've not had any room to manouvre. Give them a chance and I'm sure they'll take it.

Scott Spaven has been good for us all year but has hit a flat spot at the moment. We need him to get his confidence back. I'd definitely play him at Gateshead as a good game on Sunday could see him back to his best for the play-offs.

If we dropped him, don't play well, and then bring him back for the play-offs, it would put him under even more pressure.

We've not beaten Gateshead as easily as many of the other teams this season. They slowed the play the ball in the game at the Keepmoat very well. We never got any proper momentum going.

Hopefully we'll be wise to this tactic and impose ourselves on the game a little better.

Is Ash Williams still on loan to them?

I hope i'm wrong but i belive the rule highlighted below may rule Chris Green out of the Playoffs.

B3:15 Following completion of the RFL Match programme in each of Championship and
Championship 1 the Clubs occupying the top six positions in each such league or such teams
as the Board shall direct shall respectively go forward to contest the Championship and
Championship 1 Grand Finals Series, the format of which competitions shall be confirmed by
the RFL from time to time. For each of these matches, with the exception of the Grand Final
Match itself, the higher placed Club in the league table shall have the choice of ground. If a
Club is unable to stage a match on its own ground on the date or at the time required by the
RFL or SLE’s broadcast partners the Board may direct that such match be played at an
alternative venue (which may be the ground of its opponents) on the date and at the time so
required. In addition the Board may order a club to play on a Friday where in the Board’s
opinion circumstances including rest periods between matches make it reasonable to do so.
Dual Registered Players shall only be eligible to play in these Playoff series provided that
the player has played in at least 50% of the club’s Championships fixtures during the season
in question and in this context Championships fixtures shall mean either League Cup and
League fixtures or just League fixtures whichever provides the higher percentage for the
player in question
Clubs shall be entitled to apply for a dispensation under this rule where
the Player has been injured.
