You forgetting Hull are in 8th, Castleford in 7th. We need one more win ONLY if Hull don't scrape a single point till the end of the season. Tomorrow night things will be more clearer.

Aye, if we lose and Hull win I'd think that'd be it. Not arithmetically, but effectively.
Annoyed me slightly though that Cas' win was greeted by Eddie as them having made it. They're four points ahead - but we've a game in hand, we play them and we've a much better points difference. Fair enough, we'd be doing better than most would expect - but only over a very short span of games and it is still in our hands.
Win tomorrow or against Catalans and we definately go in to the last game with a chance - barring a a draw between Hull and Cas.

Cas' win tonight has probably sealed it for you. Hull beat Crusaders tomorrow and it's probably done.
TBH it makes no real difference because you, us or Cas are all out in the first round anyway. Hardly an achievement to finish 8th is it. Bottom half and lose more than you win.

Personally,i would like our last game this season to be at home, with a win against Cas to say goodbye and thanks to Justin.NOT a bloody good tonking away at somewhere like Wigan or Warrington which,to be honest,is what will probably happen.I know the aim all season is to make the playoffs, but we are not good enough this season.Just remember, only a few years ago,Wigan were struggling to make them.

You have close to zero chance of meeting Wigan or Warrington.

And say goodbye to the extra money we receive for making the play-offs?

our best chance to overhaul one of the 2 teams above us was to hope for a rare wakefield win against cas, this didn`t happen and stretched the gap to them to 4 pts... i expect fc to easily come away from the crusaders game with max points and also expect them to beat cas in their next game to secure their place in the playoffs, that means our only realistic chance is to overhaul cas, and to do that now we have to win 2 of our last 3 games.
only other option is for fc to lose all their remaining games and for us to win at least 1 of the last 3, either way we are in the hands of other teams to pull in the results to favour us and for us to win some games

Bit gloomy this isn't it. You've put me off going today now.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
