Even more incredible on the fantasy front is that I've currently got McCann, Jurgens and Baker on the DL with both Weaver and Molina (my backup catcher) suspended lol. My pitching has been superb during the past month.

As for the Reds it's looking like we're out it unless we pull off a miracle month. Don't know what's happened other than clutch hitting. Our batting is explosive when it hits (2nd in NL in runs scored despite being 6th in BA) but with 2 out runners in scoring position we're batting .202 which is 11th in the league. I think that probably tells a tale alongside the disruption to our starting rotation. Dropped too many games against teams we should have won (swept by a maudling Mets in the middle of taking two of three from the Braves and a sweep of the Giants, also lost series at the Astros and Cubs right after that sweep) and too many at home (1-5 at home to Pirates).

Can anyone see past a Phillies / Red Sox World Series?

If the Phils don't win the lot this year on the back of an incredible pitching rotation, where Roy Oswalt might not even pitch in the post season, I'd be extremely disappointed.

The addition of Pence is massive as Francisco and Brown have been disappointing and looks a much more shrewd free agent signing than the high profile Beltran deal the Giants made.

The Yankees could beat them in a series. Depends if we have A-Rod back as effects the lineup dramatically. I think they're the favourites though.

Yes given that the teams with the best record in each league rarely get through to face each other. You have to go back to 1999 to the last time the two teams with the best record faced off in the series. Texas and Detroit could easily ramp it up come the play offs whilst I wouldn't rule out the NL teams although I think the Phillies are a safer bet than the Red Sox.

I know all that but I honestly can't see past the Red Sox or Yankees in the AL. If the Phillies don't make the World Series it would be a huge disappointment. The only team I'd really worry about facing would be the Giants after last year. Hopefully the D'backs can keep them out

Having a storming week with the bat. FL team currently hitting over .300 with 48runs and 54rbi. Hot bats indeed.

Watched a great game last night between the Indians and the Tigers. 7-0 down after 3nad everntually got it back to 8-7 and had a chance to tie, only for Austin Jackson to end it with a double play.
