Saints have today announced the contract extensions of Tommy Makinson and Scott Hale, the pair have been given a 2 year deal and a 1 year deal respectively.
These new deals should see Makinson go on to cement a place in the first team and Scott Hale will have some opportunities to show his talents next season.

Good news for Makinson, 2 years gives him plenty of time to prove himself and if he does not make it, gives us enough wiggle room to find a replacement from either academy or elsewhere.
We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.
