not seen any post on Jammers NRL contract, but does anyone know if there is a return clause to Saints if & when he comes back.Likewise Eastmond but i doubt if there will be many open arms to welcome him back  We could do without an Iysten Harriss problem with Jammer tho.Don't know how old Jammer is right now but i would think he might be a bit kn.....ed by the time he got back. But would still have him back tho.

No such thing as return clauses. Jammer and Eastmond are out of contract at the end of the season. They are perfectly free to play for whoever they want to in the future.

Should Jammer want to return then I hope he would do but who knows whether we would want him back? Things change.

I was at a charity thing last year and jammer was there. It was when he'd not made his mind up. I asked him about being linked with wolves and Wigan. He told me he couldn't see himself playing for another super league club other than saints.

I know talk is cheap but id hope he'd stick to what he said.

Jamie Lyon also said he'd love to return to Saints. Still not happened. Players will say anything to a room of fans.

Lyon was never going to come back to be honest but is a little different with a jammer as he's grown up at saints and they are his team.

At the end of the day, if he returns to super leave he'll join whoever offers the most money.

Ask Bradford fans if that really is the case...

When is big Mal meniga coming back. Both he and the club pedalled that line for years after he finished playing.

Harris signed an agreement to return to Leeds in return for them releasing him early from his contract - i.e. he got something of value for himself (an early release) for which he pledged some value to Leeds (which would have never been required if he'd stayed in Union). As it was, he was poorly advised that this agreement couldn't be enforced. Entirely different situation from a player agreeing to a contract somewhere else that starts after their existing contract ends.

Kyle will never come back. The childish way in which the whole thing was handled probably means we'll see him in a Wire or Wigan shirt in a couple of years time.

Each will come back if the deal and time is right for both them and Saints. Otherwise, they'll be off to the highest bidder.

Loyalty in professional sport is all but unheard of, understandably, and as has been mentioned when someone leaves at the end of their contract it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to build in a return clause.

Thanks for the memories, and good luck - here's to the next local heroes.
