To be fair, £75k is an average SL salary so I doubt you'd get much better that green for the same amount would you? And I reckon the 2 cost less than sean long and richard horne have cost Hull this year
What's interesting? His lies?
It's impossible fir Green to be on $20,000 in the NRL.

Why does anyone listen to anything Larry says? A member if an NRL first team squad getting paid less than £13,000 a year? The things he says are laughable. You will also notice everything he ever says is unfounded. Proving him wrong is like trying to nail water to the ceiling!
What immortal hand or eye, Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
Really..??? The $20,000 is indeed incorrect , he was a minimum wage squad player in Oz, $50,000 rather than $20,000 , my error, which is still less than half of what Rovers have chosen to pay him....my question is why Rovers feel the need to reward a season of failure.., Green has had some good moments no doubt , he has a good show and go against the poorer teams but his failure to get involved against the Sts, Wigans and Warringtons (even the weakened Huddersfield team ) of this world tells it own story for me..
I know its against the grain for most supporters but a team built around Dobson and Green is not going to frighten the big boys....there is a reason they cant get a gig on decent money in Australia...

but seeing as we don't have a Sam Tomkins coming through our ranks, what are we meant to do otherwise?

I understand were larry is coming from as dobbo and green have put some magic in for rovers, I do think they wouldn't get into nil as it is now but I don't think rovers would get any better than these two, we nearly beat wire, we beat Leeds it's just the top four teams are freakishly good and have been established for a long time in super league, I think with s different coach and good ideas and a few more signings in pivotal areas we will do better than this season it's not gonna be an over night jobby and Tompkins is our next signing

last night bradford were poor in the second half but we still needed to get the ball accross the line, dobson and green showed that given the room to play they can hurt teams. they had a lot more time and freedom in the second half to produce a pass or kick of quality. we need some big go-foward players and a better defence next year if we are to troble the playoffs.
