Hope you contribute regularly again mate. Just my opinion, but I find RLFans 1000x better than the Unofficial Forum. From my experience on there if you're not part of one of the cliques you pretty much get either shot down in flames or just ignored.

RLFans is King IMO.

Well I could no doubt get myself banned from there instantly with just one tirade, but I won't make it, e.g. because as much as I dislike aspects of that forum it's one of those things you never know when you will need it, so I'll refrain for now.

Doesn't surprise me mate. From what I've seen it's very political and clique-ish, think my post count is about 13,000 less than on here! It's handy sometimes for useful info, but not often. A lot of b1tching and taking sides, which isn't a go at anyone in particular, just the way the forum runs I guess, but it's not for me. + it's boring really because everyone agrees - knock the club in any way and, like I said, you usually just shot down or just blanked.

People from this board were invited to sponsor the RSG, which I happily did, as an out of town fan I like to do what I can. I'm in a position were I can do that, a few years ago when the club was dying, the best I could do was go to the occasional game and they were mainly away from CP.

You say "Gents", but there's nothing gentlemanly in your conduct, the unofficial Rovers board doesn't even sponsor this site.

I'm certainly not bitching about not winning a ticket to go to the dinner, it was very nice of GML to drop me a line to say I was in the running, I'd forgotten that that was involved.

I was going to add more, but do you know what? If you're going to criticise me in public, I'm sick of explaining myself in public for your perceived slights.
