Enrique isn't an international and, whilst he's a good player, if you were to compare Arbeloa's 'stock' when he was leaving Liverpool to Enrique's, you'd probably say Arbeloa's worth more.
You could've probably got more if you'd pushed for it, to say Arbeloa left for £5m and you're spending £6m to bring Enrique in I'd say that's about right. Full back generally tends to be a difficult position for a defender to break into so to say Enrique hasn't made it into the Spanish side wouldn't be a problem for me, I don't think it'd be right to say he's worth less than you're paying because he hasn't played for Spain. The main thing is he can play and play well for you in PL and having made over 100 appearances for Newcastle I don't there's a problem.

Don't forget Diouf, I remeber he was going to rip the PL up after the World Cup when he signed

Tell the season is upon us. Great banter on here. I fear Rob may top himself this season.
Has Fergie never signed any flops then? Kleberson, Veron, Forlan, Djemba-Djemba, Hargreaves, need I go on.
He's brought in more positive signings than negatives, the likes of: Renia, Torres, Alonso, Mashcerano, Arebeloa etc etc.
Aquilani is a very good footballer as proven in Italy and playing for Italy. I, as do alot of Liverpool hope he stays this year. Apart from Gerrard, he's the best passer at the club and has heaps of ability.
