Johnson is a good player Mark, he was top for us in the second half of last year, especially on the left.
As I said, £6m is only a decent fee. In reality, we should only have paid about £3m-£4m for him, but inflation takes its toll. Remember, left back is one of those positions where there isn't a wide pool of talented players, but it's not as bad as us over paying for Carroll, etc.

Deary me, the same old same old. Anderson has been a pretty mediocre signing, it's universally accepted. He impressed in his first season, went downhill from there, picked up a bit, got a new contract, went back downhill. For an alleged £15m+ teenager, he's hardly lived up to the hype, even if the rest of his teammates have starred in successful runs. Counting his stuff at Porto? Embarrassing, even for you.
