It does surprise me that rovers are on the verge of any signings not knowing who their coach is going to be next season. Who is doing the squad building?
Will your future coach be happy with the squad which is being assembled for him?
presumably he will be delighted with his squad otherwise he wont take the job will he?
Since he has been at Huddersfield he has settle into a forwards role. He's played prop, S/R and L/F. If he is to play L/F for Rovers he will be an improvement on what they currently have. Also with all the rumours flying about about Newton wanting a release he could easily slot in at S/R.
I have always liked the kid and think he'd be a decent signing.
I actually agree that he will be one of our more solid signings.
