Yep, this million pound cash injection is certainly being used to strengthen the playing staff ,and to think mischief makers were saying it was to save you going under.

This doesn't illicit any other response from me other than a slight chuckle and "oh look, it's silly old fcimp again".
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

How can they wait until the new coach is here to make signings that might not be until oct/nov what do we do wait till all players have other teams to go to and in the meantime release half a dozen of our own, it's like saying let's get rid of the full team and let the new coach sort it out, ok what if we dont change the team at all the coach has to use what's in front of him, Maguire did it, I understand ur concern but what else can the board do.

Indeed.
Since he has been at Huddersfield he has settle into a forwards role. He's played prop, S/R and L/F. If he is to play L/F for Rovers he will be an improvement on what they currently have. Also with all the rumours flying about about Newton wanting a release he could easily slot in at S/R.
I have always liked the kid and think he'd be a decent signing.

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

I was just being sarcastic tbh...When Horney was with us he was moved about like a utility player, he was often dropped irrelevant of form and imo never ghot the chance to be established. At Huddersfield the coach appears to have stuck with him and played him gernerally in the same position which has indeed improved Grahams game.

How can we do that though? Leave it another month and there will be nobody left to sign. Next season the remit for the coach will be "see what you can do with this squad, earn the right to build your own."
