But if it comes off prepare for the top 4 regularly and challenges on all fronts as some of the names that will follow will be huge!!!!
Will all these huge names demand huge salaries or will they just come for the love of it ?

just saw the piece on look north. got some fantastic memories from the last 6 years, been a massive part in getting the club competing in the top flight again, great man, thanks and good luck. wish it could have ended with a trophy, lets get behind him and the team for the rest of the season and give him the send off he deserves.

We were a pub team I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Thing is in this silly world we live in is that some people will still have a bit of loyalty for the person that gave them a chance in the career they chose, same said people will have gained every honour in their country and earned a shed load already and as such are looking for a new challenge ( up steps our own William Mason, Hulls Fitz and Omeley), players are more likely to play for a coach than a team, I once again present Dobson, Galea and Green all of who would walk into any SL side!!!! These guys have signed (along with Hodgeson) for the new guy knowing who was coming in!!

Wake up and smell the coffee mate....they come for one thing and one thing only MONEY/PENSION TOP UP...they may well say in the the media they came for the coach/love of the country/nice coloured kit whatever, surely you do not buy into any of that, do you?
They may earn a shed load in Australia, however they are redundant by their late 30s, they come for money and nothing else..(maybe an extended holiday/experience in England sways them as well)

You do realise that the NRL salary cap is likely to be double of what ours is?
I dont think any player with a scope of making it in the NRL is going to be coming to SL in the future as we wont be able to compete financially. But then as you say, some players are loyal and may well say "f*ck it, i'm off to England for half pay and the weather"

Hudge knows who he wants and it sounds like he Is going across in two weeks to get his man and to expect an announcement in four weeks, he more or less said the coaches available over here are not up to scratch, could be a very exciting season next year
