I shop everywhere and anywhere. I have partaken of Waitrose, and very nice too, but I'm just as fond of Aldi. Tesco I'm not so keen on (although I do go there too) because of it's determination to take over the world.
Incidentally, I found a bottle of the Naoussa wine we were drinking in Paros at 6000 draculas a pop in....Lidl! At 6 quid a go! Splendid.
I'm broad minded in most things, from music to shops, but very snobbish about the English language and old things. Been to your church yet for my photie?
The only reason we use Tesco is because we have it delivered, Asda is closer but they would send us meat that was OOD the day after, not a problem because we were freezing it but it just got to a stage where we were constantly narked off, They would substitute some Prawn snacks (as in the crisp type) with frozen prawns.
Tesco are brilliant in everything and we've never had a problem, we opt out of receiving carrier bags so we have to empty each item out of their crates, but everything is packed into the crates pretty much in the same containment as how it would be stored around the kitchen.
We nip to Asda if were doing 'old fashioned' shopping.
On your last point, our Reverand is currently the top dog at both our church and Hedon's and both are now locked on a night due to vandalism (can you believe it?) I'll go on Saturday - it's cake club 2-4pm Sat/Sun.
