Embarrassing in the extreme!

People who haven't been to away games for a while turned out to support the Club today ... their reward, the worst performance I can recall since the Siddal debacle!

Lets be brutally honest, we were lucky to score at all (the only try we did get coming off one of many misplaced passes today).

Do we only have one half back and can we only pass in one direction ??? ... Gareth Potts was the quickest player on the pitch today by a country mile ... I know that because of his defensive pace in giving a Keighley player 25 yards start and still preventing a try! But did we have a game plan which might get the ball to this player or even give him a chance to chase a ball behind the opposition's defensive line ... did we hell!

We have SL-trained players at the Club ... today they probably went home scratching their heads wondering what a RL ball looks like!

We have some talented youngsters at the Club no doubt, but you look at the other so called top clubs in C1 and they have that bit of experience to guide them around the park (Swinton - Watson, Joseph ... Keighley - Demetriou, Wray) we sadly do not.

Advantage Swinton and Keighley ... the former I expect to win the Division, the latter will certainly fancy themselves against us in any play-off fixture.

The table makes depressing reading after all the results went against us.
That Workington result was a killer.
We ain't gonna beat anybody in a play off we are so disjointed and disfunctional.
Same old story.
Both top clubs have done the double over us.

That video shows what a disgrace Donny were.
Their heads had gone down at 12-6 down ... finished.
I can't believe it.
They were plodding around like cart horses.
Keighley shredded them.

The two replies from Obeone to SO sum up pretty much why I am not a lover of posting. There is always some smart alec waiting to pounce. Enjoy your moment, Keighley has I said are good on their own patch and if we can meet in the final it should be a good one.

No idea whatsoever going forward. One out stuff in the second half and a total inability to attack down the left. Pottsy nearly went full length of the field in the 1st half and that was it.He never touched the ball in the second half.Unbelievable!

We made Cougars look like world beaters yesterday , but credit to them , they did the basics and that was enough.SO and Wanderer are right when they say we need a old headed half to get us round the field and create.

Do the players play the non passing game on purpose or is it what they are being coached on the training field?? I dont know but we need to start soon or we can forget the playoffs as Haven and Worky will do us playing like that.

Its the first time in a very very long time that I just walked away and didnt clap the players off at the end.I honestly didnt think it was worth it.I left the game very unhappy with the performance and even more unhappy with the teams tactics.

Come On You Dons !!!!
