It's been a troubled and disappointing season - but frankly not that disappointing. Rubbing shoulders with Hull, Bradford and Salford; I wanted better, even expected it, but 10 wins from 22 league games isn't awful for a mid-sized SL club. It's worrying that we don't seem able to trouble the top teams - things have gone a bit stale and changes need to be made, but cutting too deep would be as bad as doing nothing, IMO.

Once again were does this "we've got nothing to lose now" come from?
Weve got a good shot at playoff rugby which will inject much needed cash into the club. IMO we have got loads to lose!

Do you know how much a brief (away from home) appearance in the play offs brings to the club? I would suggest it will cost the club more to fund a second trip to Perpignan than they would get from being in the top 8 for 1 game.

The players have everything to lose by not making the play-offs.
No top 8 = no prize money = no end of season bonuses.

If their bonuses are anything more than a packet of smoky bacon Frazzles, we've been robbed.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

what i mean is, were down to the bare bones in some positions, ie F/B and wing so have to give Sheriff and Latus a go, we have to play them, so therefore we have nothing to lose,

Not big enough, simple as - its ok saying they need experience at top level but top level rugby when your not ready for it can be just as bad.

After Neil Hudgell's comments about wanting to see the youngsters get more game time it makes me wonder who is picking the team now after this weeks developments. Just hope to God Matt Cook gets a chance now if Jordan Cox can.
