Sounds like Crusaders pretty much withdrew from the process, so presumably struggling financially again.

franchise system needs to go. just doesn't work.

He's furious because he was expecting to play for them next season and the announcement from the RFL was the first he heard about them withdrawing. He uses more colourful words though.

Time to retire.
