I saw one rather scroatish type escorted out for verbally abusing the people sat in the disabled enclosure next to him.

As we say, silly minorities giving good rugby league fans a bad name.

The HKR fans turned out well (around 1500, i reckon) and were in excellent voice though. You always get that with both of the Hull clubs.

Yeas, it was your lot. You see, Rovers fans, despite plenty of practice, still don't know how to lose graciously, so I blame Saints for thrashing our sorry asses.

1st bottle I saw go was 10 mins in after the second try. I was equally appalled by some (and a significant quantity) of our so called "fans". The knob sat immediately behind the sticks front row with his Mrs should be particularly proud of his efforts in drenching the in-goal official with out even throwing his bottle. What an utter nice person!

I'm not trying to be funny here at all, because this kind of thing tarnishes the whole sport IMO and shouldn't be subject to club bias. But how are two 'fans' who have spent time in jail due to causing bother allowed into Craven Park? Surely they would have been issued with lifetime bans?

God knows mate. Their photos were plastered all over the HDM when they were sentenced so it is not as if Rovers security wouldnt know who they are if they bothered to check.

On a lighter note, i took my 2 lads to meet the Saints players pre-match. A very approachable set of players. James Graham is a million miles removed from his on-pitch personna. I think he would stilll be stood there talking now if he hadnt a match to play. I havnt seen my missus since. Think she is still following Jamie Foster around.

Think this is something our whole sport doesn't do well TBH. I'd like to see a crackdown where people who get served with bans are properly excluded from grounds, and co-ordination between clubs to make sure they can't get in to away games as well.

Im glad nobody on here has blamed the ref for our defeat. Again to many mistakes and not quick enough to compete with a red hot Saints on the day. They were a pleasure to watch at times and pretty much man for man, 1 to 17 are in a different league to our players.

For me Thaler had a poor game, 2 of their first 3 trys looked very dodgy to me. The guy seems to have it in for us on every occasion, I would have felt pretty down hearted out on the pitch if those decisions prove to be the wrong ones, which Im assuming the players had far better views of it than us, hence some words been said to the ref.

I also think we must be pretty unfit, Mallinson gets alot of praise, not just from Rovers fans but FC fans to. There is no way our team is as fit as any of the top 5 teams in the league and its costing us big time IMO.

As for the fans causing trouble, bottle throwing is not acceptable, the police looked to be recording the crowd so hopefully individuals can be identified.

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

Interesting, wonder if it was the same woman who caused trouble at Leeds, the same woman who's always causing trouble, you know, the one that people came and defended saying "they're just having fun".

No it wasn't, and to be honest you're out of order accusing them, when you obviously didn't attend the game, just because you obviously have a problem with them.

Just because a bunch are known to go to City doesn't automatically make them purely football fans. It quite plausible that they're also Rovers fans too. Same works for Hull as well. These types of supporters will always appear at the odd game here or there, just like they do @ City matches. But it's far easier to get away with unacceptable behaviour @ rugby games.

From my experience from football/rugby games - the police have little interest in rugby half the time. Although having said that, there was that yellow/red card thing a few years ago - anyone know if that worked or is even still active?

I was at the game yesterday and it was clear how far behind the top 4 we are.
Highlight of the game for me was Kris Welhams cover tackle on Meli after he intercepted a pass and ran 90m and looked certain to score,Kris ran across from the other side of the field and tackled him into touch, inches from the line---absolute class.(Similar to what he did to Tom Briscoe in the derby game at CP)
The only incident that I saw yesterday was unfortunatley 1 plastic bottle was thrown onto the pitch, seconds before Welham tackled Meli into touch.
The turnout from the Rovers fans was superb and I never saw any fighting whatsoever.
Who was the old grey haired guy in a suit?He was a St's fan walking in front of the Rovers fans and the police/stewards moved him along,(I was busy watching the game tbh)
After the game Rovers & St's fans were walking out the ground side by side-no trouble whatsoever.
