Given the choice and weighing up the pro's and cons i think i'd have taken George over Hodgson. One player on the upgrade with his best years in front of him and one on the downgrade with his best years behind him.
That said Hodgson isn't a bad signing but its not one that would excite me.

I wouldnt even say George has more pace, take a look on video at the 90 metre try Hodgson scored against Catalan, he certainly showed real raw pace, you wont see many faster imo.
