Rory McIlroy just injured his wrist by being too greedy with a shot instead of laying up, tried to leather the ball instead of chipping out. There must have been a tree branch or something under his ball.
Doesn't look to good either!
Can't believe he is carrying on playing, what an idiot

I've injured my wrist before playing out of a sticky situation. It's best just to try and get through the round and asses it then. I think had it not been a major he would have dropped out though. It could ease up the more he moves it.

As someone who has broken his wrist and carried on working, I think he is an idiot. I broke my scaphoid bone in half and had to have it pinned because it wouldn't heal as the blood only flows one way into the bone. I was told I did more damage carrying on working.(obviously if I had known this at the time I wouldn't have carried on ) Stopped me from playing golf for 2 1/2 years did that barsteward
Obviously it's more than likely isn't broke because of the way he can still swing the club but there is no way I would carry on playing and risk missing more playing time later on. He has no chance of winning now anyway playing with the injury. *
