This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
It's sad in a way, but I think everyone's pretty much in agreement that he had to go.

Really sad day although he was on his final warning and that means final, what a waste of a great player and I hope he sorts his head out cheers Ben for the last five years, the club had no choice really.
I wish Ben the best of luck, he is part of some of my fondest HKR memories, but enough was enough, he had to go! Just a shame he could not have kept on the straight and narrow, if so I think he would have been a Rovers' player for years to come.
even though i dont like the guy he was quite a good player on the field waste of talent, he is rumoured with crusaders for next season so be intresting to see if that happens

Whilst I'm not one of these people that thinks that players should be the guardians of moral virtue, if you're on a final warning and the players are on a drinking ban; to do what he did shows either a lack of brain cells or a lack of respect for his employers. I hope that a few weeks playing at NL level, wakes him up to the fact that has hard as it is, being well paid to do a job you love is a privelege and when another SL team signs him up (which they will) he doesn't make the same mistakes again. Thank for your contribution on the field, good luck on it in the future (not against us of course).

Probably best place for him, they need to make him move over there and get him away from Normanton.

Its a shame that it had to end like this but the club have done the right thing. He leaves us with great memories of some of his tries and celebrations. Clint is going to have to wind up our friends from the West on his own now.
