Maybe an element of both, but the finance with Wakefield was definitely an issue and Senior didnt want to leave West Yorkshire as it now means relocating which he didn't want to do. Wakey was first choice but couldnt be done, one for financial reasons and two for uncertainty of SL licence.

I thought all contracts had a clause that made then null and void if the club were not in SL? In which case surely Wakey should be planning for next year unless the club know different?
