What has Joe done wrong? Paul Smith and Larder have done nothing all season but Smith gets picked every week and Larder only managed 5 minutes today coming in for Aizue!

Would be interesting to get an answer. I thought he looked good early in the season when he got his chance but it defnatley looks like a jobs for the boys scenario. I cant understand why the team is carrying players like Smith, Clayton and Barlow. I spoke to a guy today and he genuinley didnt even know Smith had played! Larder was a strange one because he picked up a bad cut but came out stripped for the second half with a big bandage round his head. Looked willing to play so was strange that he didnt get time in the second half given the heat and the fact that Clayton and Smith were about as useful in defence as a turnstyle.

If the coaches watch this video back and Smith and Clayton are in the team next week i would be a bit dismayed to say the least. Ive said before about Barlow that at the end of last season i thought he would go on to play SL, after this season my opinion has defnatley changed and he is just another player making up the numbers at the moment. Also has Black been told not to run at the line or try off the cuff things because he has turned in to your average Championship half back. I mean his passing was never great which showed again today but going forward taking on the line hes the best in the league.

Tough to choose a MOM today once you get past Penky. I dread what the score would have been if he hadnt played.

chandler is a far better bet than clayton who is just poor,why no larder in 2nd half? he was definately stripped and ready after the cut.and you are correct about black mate even tho we have picked up ol late he hasnt made a break all season.batley fans i know were commenting that he offered nothing apart from running sideways along the defensive line.penky superb.

Is Goddard injured? He didn't play against Fev u23's last week so I thought he might be in the running to get a game in the 1st team.
