I quit that place a long time ago. Let's just put it this way. Ran by, frequented by, respected by, smug, pseudo (i.e. fake) intellectual, self righteous hypocritical pricks. Wasn't always the case that it was the majority there but I couldn't be bothered to help run it any more.
I recall a thread about how rewarding a convicted paedophile with compensation because of the "stress" that this had caused him was a great day in british justice, and I was just about the only one pointing out that it wasn't great justice, it was an unfortunate side effect of the system and should not have stood as he was the one who caused himself stress by commiting the acts in the first place. An astounding thread of people jumping through hoops to prove just how enlightened they were...to support this paedophile.
It's a nasty little place full of people who judge you by which newspaper you read instead of what you're saying.
