Nothing but respect for Batley and their supporters, roll on Sunday and lets hope it's a cracking game.

Seriously, after my earlier post, I do Like Batley, Punch well above their weight and thats down to being a well run club. Others should look at how they do their business and follow the model. Had many a good day out at Batley too!

Totally true! Depends which Halifax turn up but we seemed to have sorted the defence out thus far. Will be a cracking game. I too have a soft spot for Batley having worked there for many years.

well i can tell you that batley dont very much like us,i know plenty batley fans and they think we are arrogant prima donnas and they love having a pop at us on their forum.

But there are plenty of batley fans that don't think that way and appreciate what fax are, a great club, steeped in history just like they are. There will always be both sides of the coin with all clubs.

All the boys need to think about is that they have beat both fev and Leigh on last few games, just keep the pressure from the start, complete the sets, defensw to stay strong and we will come out victorious.

Without wanting to cause a row, I think perhaps some people have percieved some of Matt Calland's comments in the past as coming across as slightly arrogant. But then Rhino may come across as the same to some people. Such is life, but your always going to get differences of opinion, especially on forums like these, which are in many ways designed for it. Plus we all know how parochial we ALL get at times!

You've also got to remember as well that to alot of fans your still in many ways an SL club and a 'big team', and always will be, whatever division your in, same as Leeds UTD in many ways. And everybody wants to get one over the supposed big boys in every sport, especially the clubs percieved as 'smaller', like ourselves, Dewsb*ry, etc. Just imagine what it's going to be like for the SL club who loses their license next year. Every week on here and at home grounds, its going to be 'c'mon lets smash the SL rejects'. Just the way it is and always will be, rather than anything personal against the club in question.

Always had plenty of time for Fax, a traditional and proper RL league, with passionate fans. How it should be. Would much prefer you guys in SL than some other French or franchise based club.

Roll on Sunday and hopefully an exciting game, whatever result.
