[quote Finding proof has always been the problem to routing out the bad eggs. I think we have now reached a watershed. I have seen a change in Featherstone Fans this week and I am sure they will start speaking out and giving names to the club and police.
Sorry Martin i thought you were a director at the time. I do hope the club dont just take the word of someone ringing up annonymously and giving names and actually have evidence as well, its very easy to pick a phone up and gives someones name and there are some vindictive people out there that would give someones name they didnt like. Lad i know got his door booted in, in the early hours of the morning and arrested, in front of his family over the Warrington incident, all because some person gave a statement to the police, assuming it would be him, he got released because he wasnt anywhere near at the time and the police realised that. Amazing as it sounds its that easy to stitch someone up

Sadly, I know the above incident to be true! I believe issuing a mobile number for people to contact immediately if they see any trouble is a step in the right direction. However, I am cautious. Say I couldn't abide the living sight s of you, and saw you screaming at the opposition players as you do - e.g.Mick Nanyn, Smithy etc Does one phone call alleging that suggy is being racist/homophobic/aggressive/abusive etc (even tho there is no other corroboration) result in you being expelled from the ground and perhaps banned or even lifted?? I'm all for pro-active action - Jeez, we need it. But we need to be careful how we proceed. We need to get it right! It is so important we do!

The next time we play Featherstone at Featherstone all our party, except my 6 year old grandson will go. We will arrive in time for a couple of drinks upstairs and leave peaceably WIN OR LOSE afterwards. All I ask is that the police, police Post Office Road as we leave.
When we play Featherstone at the Shay, I expect all Featherstone fans to be there, even the very young, WIN OR LOSE you will be able to enter and leave the ground safely.
And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

I would like to go back to POR again, but i don't feel it would be safe for my 5 and 10 year old daughters, i for 1 DO NOT blame all fev fans, and i feel sorry for the true supporters as it is just a SMALL section of so called fans (if you can call them that) who are spoiling the great name of your club.
Hopefully things will get sorted and if we meet in the play offs, i will feel safe to come and support my team with my family
It's a bloody shame that people are a bit apprehensive about supporting their team away from home. I'll be visiting Post Office Road, and I haven't seen any trouble there in my couple of visits. Maybe because we have a good travelling support, I'm not sure. The same goes with The Shay, I feel safe there just as much as I do at any other ground in the Championship.
I hope the two sets of fans can sort out something in soon, because you're just ruining the game for each other.
"For Michael Jackson to come over to this country, after what's all gone on (and I think we all know what I'm talking about here), to dress in a white robe, thinking he's the messiah. Who does he think he is, Me???" -------------- BEWARE: The big wheel is always turning.

I'm afraid it's not TWO sets of fans who need to sort themseves out and it's only one set of fans spoiling the game.

Go away troll.
The people on both forums, us and fev are nothing but true supporters and are not spoiling anything for anyone, The minority of Idiots that get involved in fighting becuase they can't handle losing or cant handle the booze are spoiling it, I wouldn't generalise and label all fans of either club, neither should you.
as the late great jacko said..........BEAT IT !!!!
