McIlroys been superb but I wish Sky would stop banging on about how he hits the ball so far and that he's the first guy to get to -13 in a US Open. It's been the same bloody comments for the last 2 days! Starting to sound like they have man crushes going on.
With all my runners out of contention I hope Rory keeps this going and wins it well but this -13 (should be -14 very quickly) will mean nothing if he doesn't win the tournament. Sky should remember the Masters. If Rory can stay at -14 then he can probably get away with shooting a 74 on the final day and still winning.

Might give it a go tomorrow
Favourite bit was earlier on when they were talking about Rory not been able to sleep last night. First question they asked him was what he got up to last night and he responded by telling them instead of watching the film he was going to watch he fell asleep, nice one Sky

love it
He should have said "I've just had one off the wrist, cos I played that good, and I slept like a baby" . I bet that'd make Di Dougherty blush especially if he'd said 'I was thinking of you, Di"

Wouldn't say that mate. He should cruise home with room to spare. But he only needs to shoot a 75 to give the others a genuine shot at it. One of the chasing pack will shoot a 65 or 66 in my opinion. Should be a good day of golf with McIlroy winning with plenty to spare hopefully.

Hopefully he will do. Would love to see him finally win a major. Think Yang will be in the running as will Westy, but if RMac just takes his time, lays up if it's easier to do that rather than going for the pin, he'll take the spoils.

Agree with that. Sensible, percentage golf is what he needs today and he'll stroll it, no matter what others do. Will need a magic round from one of the others to even challenge. Bit gutted for Westy. He'll prob come second again and except for RMac would be taking his first major.
