Harlequins RL have signed Kyle Briggs on a month's loan, with the half back set to be named in the 19 man squad to face Wakefield this Saturday (3pm ko).
Leeds-born Briggs, 23, had an outstanding season for Featherstone Rovers in 2010, during which time they topped the Championship table and lost the Grand final by a single point.
Briggs, was the leading points scorer in the competition with 19 tries and 104 goals and was nominated for the Championship's "Player of the Year" award. He subsequently signed for Bradford in the close season on a two-year contract with an option for a third.
Briggs originally played for Doncaster, alongside Luke Gale, before joining Featherstone Rovers in 2009.
The loan deal is initially for a month be could be extended. Harlequins' Head Coach Rob Powell said: "We are excited to have Kyle on board. He is actually someone we have tried to sign before, so it's great we have got it through. It gives us a fresh injection and a good option in the halves."
He will be in the 19-man squad to face Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Saturday at The Twickenham Stoop, kick off 3pm.
