I know it will never happen because of club demands and apathy but i would still like to see a properly re-vamped Yorkshire versus Lancashire series with the incentive for the players a coveted England jersey to face the Exiles. The more intense games our players play the better they will become.

Unless you are talking about firearms, this isn't going to happen in the forseeable. There is no silver bullet or magic formula. It is our tragedy to have chosen to be interested in possibly the only area of human endeavour in which the Australians plop all over us.
