The lack of selection of Cross and Clarkson, but the continued selection of other forwards who are simply not cutting it, confirms to me that the more BMD is proven to be picking the wrong players, the more stubborn he becomes and continues to do it.
Giving people a chance to atone for their errors is one thing, but sticking by players who continually fail to make enough metres is a totally different one...
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I am not sure at all today what will happen, there is certainly the possability that we will lose, hope we won't but not confident of anything at the moment

A very good win and decent performance considering the conditions and where we are confidence wise. Hauraki was very good ,Smithy looked like a natural LC with his winger Hall getting a hat-trick and Bailey was deserved M.O.M. Some great desire shown defensively and when people see the highlights some great tries were scored. Does it paper over any cracks? Absolutely not , what it does show is what 99% of us knew in that this team/squad is capable of better than what's been shown over the last couple of weeks but still does'nt disguise the need for more quality to be added because HKR are no where near top 6 material let alon top 4. Felt a bit sorry for Webby he made some awful errors but did also have 1 or 2 assists. Any North Standers want to comment on the grief in there?

I appreciate it was just another win against one of Super League's whipping boy clubs BUT may I take this opportunity to congratulate McDermott on his inspirational half-time team talk.

Also good to see the Exiles and England players of both Hull and Leeds show the other top sides how to do it and back up with a win.
Missing McDermott's and Agar's training sessions is clearly the way forward.
