burgess is back thats one good thing, but clarky still not selected is a joke, he was playing well and getting better and better every week now he cant get in, which i could understand if we were showing warringtons form, but weve just shipped 40+ in back to back games. Its easy to see that hes worth a place more than weller at the moment, well for everyone except Mc!
"complement" (unless you ARE suggesting he could praise the pack's abilities, hairstyles or choice of tatoos)

I deserve to be listened to no more than the next man/woman mate. I can accept defeat and it's a fact of sport in general that you can't win every game. I just think the last 2wks of 2nd half "efforts" and prior performances (Wigan for 65minutes aside) against the top 4 highlight the need for a over-haul both in player terms and in Coaching staff. I just want us to compete and think this squad should be at least competative against the other top 4 teams. Of course one of the biggest things that's pi$$ing me off personally are the unbelievable press conferences when we've had our @r#s handed to us and the continued absence of Clarkson ,Burgess and Cross who at the very least deserve bench spots in terms of others not doing the job. This can be turned around with some big calls from GH re-recruitment and retention and tbh the youth production is looking very promising also so it's interesting times ahead.

No mate, no cross or clarky in the 19, burgess and kirke are tho, and all the players involved in the eng vs exiles could back up. I suppose he may call clarkson in depending on how the players are shaping up.

Seems a bit of a joke not including clarky!!!!! Even cross should be fresh and would make more sense to include him rather than some knackered and brused players backing up

I wonder if/when we'll see Cross again.
The club have confirmed there is no injury and given some of the recent performances you'd have thought he could/should have been brought in if nothing else to freshen things up.
When he has played IMO he's looked much better than Hauraki who went through an identical 'sabbatical' and has been 'forgiven' recently so perhaps there is a disciplinary reason for his continued none selection that the club refuse to give details about?
If there is no disciplinary reason for his continued none selection then I hope any potential NRL signings we might be looking at/near to agreeing terms for next season don't ring Cross for an opinion on us as i'm sure he won't be given them/us a glowing endorsement

The thing is mc has options in the forwards he just doesn't seem to want to use them
I don't have a particular problem with players backing up but the two forwards in question and I agree with you on jp and Julie isn't the fittest bloke to ask to back up. Just thought cross might have been an option.
On hauraki I agree both he and cross haven't set the world on fire but I think cross was the lesser of 2'evils.
I seem to remember reading somewhere hauraki and chase are best mates
