Perhaps the most shameful moment super league has ever witnessed is when a Wigan fan threw her pint on the floor after a no try decision. We all know litter attracts rats and ever since ratboy (aka Sam Tomkins) has started playing at the JJB/DW stadium on a regular basis.

Joking aside, I do think that this is a serious issue and this incident in 2008 did no good for the image of the game. It portrayed us northerners as wreckless idiots who overreact when something doesn’t go our way. Does this sound familiar?

I do hope that the RFL lead the way when it comes to combating the ever mounting litter in our stadiums. It’s not nice when it’s windy and a burger wrapper with some ketchup still on it fly’s onto my jeans

I'm sure the cost of the burgers and beer makes the clean up operation worth it!

You cant offer a bin any where there'll be 20,000 people in attendance.

Why?

Terrorism threat.

In the present climate of belt tightening and cut backs I would question some people's sense of priorities.....sheesh ! Vote for me: I'll cut back policing serious crime; allow inappropriate staff to 'look after' the old and vulnerable in society...BUT I will clamp down on the real scum of society litter bugs ( as well as spending huge amounts on another bluddy middle east war of course...as long as its not Syria, Bahrain, Iran or Saudi Arabia ).

Rediculous but true. There were bins regularly spaced out in the Carnegie Stand when we first started watching the matches from there!! How about litter pickers being employed then?

Littering is a big problem not just at sporting venues, look anywhere people just throw stuff about and no one bats a eyelid!!

Or instead of fines how about a bit of community service where everybody knows that this was the outcome for littering the ground.

Chop thier hands off (but obviously put the hands in a bin as to just discard them would be hypocritical!!)
