read an article in the star on the 26th saying we would find out that week - its now nearly 2 weeks after that week end and correct me if i'm wrong but we haven't heard anything?

seems to be dragging on a bit

IIRC John Scarrow said during the post-match speeches at the Keighley game (May 15) that the RFL had said they would endeavour to conclude their investigations within a month.

We're getting close to that now but I would guess that in reality they will take as long as they see fit.

I'm happy that they take as long as neccessary to arrive at the correct conclusions / decision with ALL of the facts.

Better to drag on a bit and get the verdict right ...

If Shaun ends up with a ban will the time he have already done while suspended come off it?

I should imagine so.
That's how it works with the legal system.
And rugby is not above the law is it?

Played against Shaun a couple of weeks ago in a local RFU touch tournament he is playing in to keep in shape. He took the banter that flew his way in good spirits and i got the feeling he was looking forward to getting his version of events over to the RFL.
Good luck to him. He seems a nice kid to me that made a daft mistake which was compounded by the actions of a back stabbing mate.

Spot On as far as i'm concerned--hope to see the lad back in a Dons shirt before too long.

I'm in the 'no news is good news' camp.

Hopefully it will be resolved sooner rather than later though.
