I've read somewhere, probably here that Waterhouse was the leading off loader in the NRL now if that's true i can understand the reasoning behind the signing, the fact that the Panther fans on their forums are begging their club to tie him up to a new contract must give some testimony to how he's thought off.

It's been fun.

Wouldn't surprise me, Penrith are starting to put together a bit of form.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Depending which stats list you use he's between 2nd and 6th, Mateo's top.

We play an offloading game so it makes perfect sense, he should fit right in.

It's been fun.

What difference does his age, nationality and motives make? Assuming he signs a 3 year contract, as long as he performs to the appropriate standard for that period, who cares about the other stuff?

And as for the other predictable yawns about:-

- youth development: there's plenty in our squad who came through the academy;
- bad for England: take a look at the team tomorrow night (it would be six if Ben Harrison wasn't injured.

Oh, and by the way, he's only about 7 months older than Brett Finch!

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
