40? Geez!! Nevermind a red pen, you'll have a big fat purple dabber soon and start to have a permanent aroma of urine that cannot be masked by any amount of cheap perfume, on a positive note, you can be nasty to people when you lose all inhibitions and you will perfect the art of "tutting".

Edit. Upon submitting this post I practiced my "tut" while sat in a brew area on an MoD site. Everyone turned to look at the strange man in the corner tutting loudly to his phone.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.

Is that a bingo reference?

One with 'mean machine' in it.

It's hard to concentrate on the strongest line up when you have the mental image of gingerspices " big fat purple dabber" running around your mind!

With the players currently available i would go with

Briscoe
Colbon
Hall
Welham
Cockayne
Green
Dobson
Vella
Hodgson
Wheeldon
Lovegrove
Galea
Watts
Fisher
Newton
Taylor
Netherton.

Harsh on Cook though who didnt deserve to be dropped. I think Murrell needs a rest and a spell on the treadmill to trim down although to be fair his fitness levels are amazing for a chubby lad.
Lets hope that Fox can run in some tries in the 9s tonight to get some confidence back and start to pressure Colbon and Cockayne.
Webster and Clinton should be made to fight their way back into the side. Can only be a good thing.

As much as Taylor has impressed everyone as an interchange prop i think his future is in the back row (like Mariano) and now seems as good a time as any to give him an extended run in that position. This would allow Galea to be used in a more creative role rather than as a structured running back rower. Taylor and Newton are both strong running line breakers and with a floating role for Galea it would increase Rovers attacking threat accross the park imo. Murrell has great utility value to the team and this is better employed from the bench where he offers great cover in the halves, at hooker and in the back row.

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

Must admit it did frustrate me a little when Taylor was brought into the side at prop in much the same way it did when Mariano was used there. However i'm warming to the idea now and think that if the RFL reduce interchanges to 10 next season then Taylor has the physical attributes to be one of the props who can play longer spells.
Anyway, Jordan Cox will shortly explode onto the scene and since he is a natural left sided and wide running second-row forward he will compliment Newton perfectly.
