The irony is that it spelt the end for Hull RLFC,who had to merge (get taken over) by Gateshead Thunder.

Some of my fellow supporters are gormers, as are some of yours, that's why I removed the earlier comments. Wilby's health and sexuality are now out of bounds. I don't know whether his legal issues have been resolved, but frankly I cba, so they're gone too.

Watched the uploaded stuff on that site. As a proud bandwagonner of brief-standing it was very educational. Wilby, with all due respect to his family, seemed like a right doylem.

No problem RW - bad things happen to good people and vice versa, so I don't believe in it personally. Same with karma and 'making your own luck'. Especially the last - it's not luck, then is it? Or if it is, it's a refusal to accept that you've just been jammy.
