Wigan were defensively excellent. They did make a few handling errors, but we couldnt capitalise as we then went and made a handling error in the set immediately afterwards for example. I agree that in the first half players were all over the place, which is a bit odd considering for the first 15 mins of the second half our defense was really controlling them. We do miss way too many tackles however. Hull probably werent quaking in their boots but lets face it neither of us are all that great, all comes down to 80 mins of rugby both teams will fancy themselves.

Morgan has been a fantastic coach, but you rarely get an entirely linear trajectory. This season has been a bit disappointing so far, but Morgan can play the Mason card here, which was nothing to do with him but which has put a spoke through the first half of the season.

Too slow at play the ball, its like you get off me first then i'll get up. No imagination in attack, same plays and then a dobson or green kick in behind and go fetch. Hodgson was garbage, Lovegrove was garbage, Webster was garbage but realised it and went off injured. Netherton made his usual 10 metres and nothing else. Briscoe past it, Clinton so disgusted nobody was even looking when he offloaded a beauty went off injured. Are Taylor and Watts injured? if not Morgan doesnt have a clue.
