Think it would be good to see the next episode of the BBC program featuring the Mighty Robins.

If you look at how much has changed over the past 20 years it is amazing.

I remember going to Highfield at the start of the season a few years ago, its some where near Knottyash, It was boiling that day. The crowd was 176 and 150 was from Rovers, the other 26 was wives and friends from Highfield.

There was 1 stand and 1 turnstyle. The girl thanked us for coming and then served us coffee at half time.

It was the poorest ground I have ever been too and that includes the Boulevard and Far Town.

Has any one got The original Trouble at the top on DVD I will make a contribution to Rovers to Aus trip if anyone can do it. Cheers

Peter Gentle was rejected by Hull KR as their new head coach due to his lack of ambition.

Seeing as we're now doing reasonably well (certainly in comparison to when that programme was filmed) it wouldn't really be "Trouble At The Top" would it.

Runcorn.

Fartown.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Its not success either! Still would love to see a re-run.

I have. :) Brilliant documentary that, great feeling watching it back to see how the club rescued itself from near-oblivion. The sight of Hull having half the East Stand and going wild winning at our place on their march to the title was hard to watch years ago when we were in such dire straits, never could have imagined how competitive we would become with them from 2007 to the present day. Anyway a superb watch, feel we still owe a lot of thanks to the administrators for keeping us out of the hands of people like Wilby.   :)

Indeed.
If the admin's hadn't quickly got wise to the irish (Wilby) mob we would have been bought and disposed of in quick fashion.
Neither us or FC came out with flying colours as both clubs in and around that period (Our chairman and FC's owners) tried their damned hardest to see each other off.
Wilby (Lloyd) tried to buy us on the cheap with the line 'there will only be one club in Hull' so it obvious what his/their plans were, Our chairman tried to get rid of FC by whipping up votes denying them entry into the second tier when SL said 'well you can't stay here' neither plan worked thankfully.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.
