I stand by that opinion about Mason's profile and i have already commented on this thread that Rovers should take the blame for it going wrong.
I recall saying nothing was said in the press conference to suggest Mason was heading to France but now he has so Wayne was spot on fair play to him.
It hasnt happened overnight but in all probability was a deal already when the Derby was played.
Forums are for giving opinions and adding to debate.
Some people in their time have suggested that Morgan would be St Helens coach with Peter Fox heading there also and that Craig Fitzgibbon would have been a good signing for Hull 5 years ago but not around the time they signed him.
If people didnt offer opinions then not much would happen on these forums.
Not everyone is going to be correct all of the time.
Its for the best that Mason has gone, Rovers played with fire and got burnt.
People said it would happen, some more in hope then expectation i expect but it will soon be fish and chip paper and lessons hopefully have been learned not only by Rovers but by the RFL also.
