I didn't blame Ashton for taking the money offered to him, it was the right decision for him.
I didn't really blame him for the "shirt" decision. He was young and probably ill advised.

What I will never forgive him for was his "attitude" at training. I was told by a players father at the time that Ashton would deliberately throw a bad pass and blame someone else and say "you're poop"

I was told this on the day that Aston was released from Wigan, not at the time he signed for Northhampton.

Yes, maybe he was. Who knows how his RL career would have turned out if he'd stayed, and been coached by Shaun Wane and MM?
But he wasn't so young, and he had plenty of time to get good advice, when he was interviewed for THAT story recently, where he seemed to bury the hatchet into Wigan and RL in general.

Regardless of what happens in the future, he is one man I DON'T EVER want to see in the Cherry and White again.
