Mariano could have slotted in there, but now that's gone astray, how many years has Wilkin got left at Saints oh wise one?

Newton most definately isn't a flat track bully, now if you were talking about a player with a similiar first name to Newton's then you'd be getting somewhere.

In breaking news, you could even sign a player that's not played for Rovers before and a pretty expensive one on the quota at that (I think). Wilkin, for all that he's no Andy Coley pacewise, would be a very good signing.

Although Andy Cole would be a good media signing he is past his best. Never the same since his partnership with Dwight Yorke broke up in my opinion.

Brilliant. Also, if Newton left and relinquished his title as the self-titled King of Hull, the headline on the back of the HDM could be: New King Cole. As opposed to Old King Cole. Quite pleased with that.
