It doesn't find anything either
It happened again tonight, massively annoying.
Another problem I'm having is Firefox. I have the latest version of it and the latest version of Adobe. But every time I go on a website with Flash content like embedded adverts, it crashes. I have to wait ten minutes or so before it will let me have control back and then it will say 'oops sorry the adobe plugin crashed, simply refresh the page to fix'.

Just a quickie for all those NOT using Internet explorer. Make sure you still upgrade to the latest version as everything else in Windows has links to it and Internet Explorer will protect any vulnerabilities.

Happened to me using OSX 10.6.7, had to remove everything to do with Flash Player and Firefox and install them from fresh.
Help.... My laptop has suddenly decided to die on me. Luckily I'd seen it coming and done a back up last minute, which was good.
So now I need a new, and importantly cheap, machine to work on. I don't need a CD/DVD player/writer, so wondered about netbooks. All I used my laptop for was writing, viewing pictures, and internet.
Opinions/suggestions/recommendations.. Been looking at ones at Tesco for about £180 or so, but sure I can do better.
I also need it yesterday...
Thanks
God is nothing more than an imaginary friend for grown ups.
Does anyone know where I can download new maps for a Garmin Satnav? It's a US Satnav, so need to find somewhere cheap, or preferably free, that I can get UK maps for it. Tried the Garmin website but it all seems to be US stuff its asking me to download.....Cheers

Trying to connect to some streams on myp2p, keeps saying 'server not found', I'm using my gf's laptop at uni, which makes me think it would be a crappy slow internet problem, but on a speedtesting site, it measured at 55mbps download speed, which tells me it's pretty quick. Any help?
