Long has played more minutes than Mason and had a big hand (albeit a dislocated one, but good enough on the day given the opposition) in the game that pretty much defines our relative league positions thus far. Plus he's not caused us to hack off the RFL with continuous dispensation seeking. Nor been photographed schmoozing with RU clubs on a Wednesday afternoon in France. Nor caused an inventory issue with 7500 surplus special flags in the shop. I don't think either rate as a their respective club's best value for money.

Longy does prove his worth when playing, and I think we are seeing the benefits of having such revered players in the squad, off the field aswell. Injuries are just unlucky like that.
