for 6/7/9 and sticking to fed-trained I'd look at Tommy Lee - he probably won't ever be as good as Horne was, but they must be close to passing now, heading in opposite directions.
Agree that Horne definately isn't the player he was, but he is a player with very good experience in playing both half back positions and is still a very good super league player. Wouldn't play in every game but would keep the two we have now on their toes and would be a very reliable option should either get injured. Would be a super signing at the right price. Its all hypothetical of course, it was just a thought i had today.
Non quota half back/hooker cover with their best years in front of them, out of contract and happy to come to the East Riding? Literally, er, one of them.
