I don't think our attack is the problem. We just give the opposition so much time in our own half my lads under 10's team would score trys against us. I don't know what the official stats were but I reckon that Wakey had about 70% to our 30%. we need to stop coughing the ball up in our own half and start putting some pressure on in the opposition's half.

Defence wins you matches.
Im sure rovers can score more points than the opper if we stop making silly errors.

Using the same tactic as Brown then, Lunt has been making a good go of it

We lose the games on yardage made, our pack has no go forward hence no field position and ultimately no decent attack. Until our pack starts to lay a platform we wont be competetive against any half decent side.

The forwards are making the yards but certain players get controlled and turned far too easily resulting in slow ptb's.

Rovers main problem at the moment are getting out of their back end on spider sets. Cockayne and Latus get dominated far to easily and don't lay anywhere near the platform Briscoe and Colbon lay and when you factor in that Fox at the moment is struggling for form, herein lies the main reason Rovers don't appear to be going forward. Add into this a poor kicking game and already your up against it and thats before all the handling errors.

Lots of problems, but all can be remedied by a decent coach

JM does use various ideas from various sources, trouble is what is good or works for another team is not necessarily good or working for Rovers..he was much better when he was a little more original in his thinking...or was that him..?
