If he leaves, then at least we had some fun to partially offset the problems and outlay. You weren't paying Crocker iirc, after his visa fell through, so that was a bit different. With hindsight you'd have to say that it had turned out to be a very disappointing signing - but it'd be just as bad, if not worse, if he had never made it over and was still waiting in Sydney mid-way through the season.

If he stays and can't play, that'd be worse than the Crocker situation. In this worst case scenario, I'd hope he gets back playing somewhere this season, even if we end up picking up a chunk of the tab. This isn't his fault, after all.

True what you say about Mason, could play now he is over here.I suppose with the case of Crocker you can`t miss what you don`t have.The situation must be just as frustrating for Mason as anyone else.I won`t lie,I was interested in seeing how he actually gets on in S.L.,and was disappointed he didn`t play in the derby.
