Bet they're glad they've got the 3 Pies 'Dual Reg' players, well against lower opposition.

What a ridiculouslly stupid way to run a sport. Get back to improving Lawn Tennis Mr Lewis you are so much a failure you remind me of me but I do not get £200 000 a year for being useless.

Frank, I have a new flat cap! Your post is worthy of wearing my old one!!! I'll bring it to B'pool should we get there!!!

It's called being a true Supporter, not just a fair weather fan.

Its this ingenious idea dreamt up by Steve O'Connor - Give people cheaper rates for a Super League - but only if you sign up now. Widnes are switching away from season tickets and moving to monthly subscription to watch games. Current season ticket holders will get the next 3 years at £13.99 a month - non season ticket holders can sign up before the end of May for £15.99 a month, non season ticket holders who leave it until next year to sign up will cost them £17.99 a month.

Apparantly we've had 600 new members since the scheme was launched a few weeks ago. Still well short of how many new members we need by next year, but the SL announcement has already gained us £9,594 a month extra in season ticket / subscriptions even though SL is still ages away. If we can get to 1,000 new members by the end of May, even if no-one else signs up it will have still earned the club an extra £100,000 before SL kicks off.

If you believe the crowd figure, of course, as I was highly sceptical of the one announced last week.

I do think its a very good idea and if you have a good second half to the season it could turn into a brilliant idea.Hopefully it works well for you.Maybe its the way forward.

If as reported there were over 3000 on,then the stadium must have a capacity of at least 30,000! i could not believe the attendance when it was annnounced! what is the official capacity anyone know? it looked to me like just one side half full.
