I agree. After all we did to get him here and then what went on when he got here,i thought he might want to show some type of gratitude, but top and bottom of it is he would rather be in the South of France than Preston Road!

The thing is mate,he saw the fans reaction upon his arrivel,he knows the club has sold merchandise,he signed for 3 years.Surely he is morally bound to stay until at least the end of the season?

As amusing as it is on the face of it that kind of behaviour by players isn't on in my book. I know it's a job and all that but when you enter into a contract you should be committed to fulfilling it IMO and not take the first chance that comes along to weasel out and go elsewhere.
True but for all we know he may have been told that a Tongan passport won't be forthcoming so has spoken to Toulon with HKR's blessing (or indeed been pushed to talk to them) as they need Dobson back more than they need Mason.

He signed two years with a years option BB if and if he is going then I wud say see ya and hope the French side get his flippin passport sorted as I read it unless they have his Tongan passport which I presume has been paid for by KR then let's hope he has to go through it all again, on the flip side this cud all be total tosh

Both Hull KR and the RFL have stated that he will be getting his passport.

I`m ashamed to be a rovers fan right now....... after 4/5 goodish years and fairly good progress made on and off the pitch and now we are back to square one...... looking foolish...
Why? The club is a business, they need to explore all the possibilities of bringing in players and for what ever reason things can go wrong, it will never be the Clubs intention of upsetting fans. Neil Hudgell is the most loyal Chairman in SL and he is always looking to improve this great club. He will take gambles, some pay off some dont, no big deal. No need for that if you want to continue down that road go and post on the 'other' thread-RW
If Mason is to go then so what, we will bring in some one else next season , if he stays then so be it, I am fully behind the Club and all the Directors. I like the excitment.
Peter Gentle was rejected by Hull KR as their new head coach due to his lack of ambition.
